Hidroelectrica said it does not intend to increase electricity prices, maintaining tariffs for domestic customers between 1.06 - 1.14 lei/kWh. It emphasized that energy purchases on the market do not imply price increases and reaffirmed its commitment to provide a fair and competitive offer. Despite a 41% drop in net profit in the first half of the year, Hidroelectrica remains the leader on the Romanian energy market, with 6.3 GW of generation capacity. The company advises consumers to get information from official sources.
