Hidroelectrica has announced the initiation of the selection process for the positions of CEO and CFO, following the resignations of Károly Borbély and Marian Feibișba, due to the risks of losing funds from the PNRR. The Minister of Energy emphasized that these resignations are a gesture of responsibility, considering the irregularities reported by the European Commission in corporate governance. Until the new directors are appointed, Bogdan-Nicolae Badea and Radu-Ioan Constantin will take over the responsibilities. Similar issues have been identified in other state companies.
