In Q1 2023, Groupama paid out more than 500 million lei for claims, including both motor (CASCO, MTPL) and non-auto (property, home). The largest claims were for fires, totaling more than 19 million lei, and the largest payout was 17.9 million lei for a building affected by fire. Around 45,000 customers received compensation and a significant proportion of damage notifications were made online.
