The fiscal package, dubbed the "ordinance-trail", will be finalized tomorrow and will contain austerity measures needed to avoid downgrading the country's credit rating. Deputy Prime Minister Anastasiu stressed the importance of negotiations with donors, including the European Commission, and said Romania needs to save 30 billion lei by the end of the year. The measures include tax adjustments and spending cuts, while VAT will also be revised.
