Gheorghe Dincă, known as "the monster from Caracal", was sentenced to 30 years in prison for murder, rape, desecration of corpses, and human trafficking. He requested a suspension of his sentence on medical grounds, citing health issues. The Craiova Court decided to refer the case to the execution court to evaluate his request. Dincă, at the age of 72, showed signs of severe discomfort, and the medical staff in the prison intervened with first aid measures. Sources from the National Administration of Penitentiaries mentioned that he had visible edema and complained of discomfort caused by the draft in his cell, generated by the open windows of other inmates. The court will soon decide whether Dincă can be released.
