The National Trade Union Federation 'Ambulance' from Romania (FNSAR) recently criticized the form of the project published by the Ministry of Labor, arguing that it contains provisions that disadvantage the operational intervention staff.

The main concern refers to the splitting of ambulance services into two salary categories, depending on the existence of a university center in the county, which FNSAR considers unjustified. The unionists demand that all employees benefit from the same salary conditions. Additionally, FNSAR requests a return to the current provisions of the Salary Law no. 153/2017, to ensure adequate bonuses for particularly dangerous conditions.

In the event that the proposals of the Ministry of Health are not included in the project, FNSAR threatens with 'radical actions' starting next week. The union emphasizes the importance of protecting ambulance personnel, in the context of recent violent incidents against intervention crews.
