The Infotrafic Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police has announced that there are no national roads or highways with traffic stopped due to accidents. Throughout the country, traffic is flowing on wet roads, and in lowland areas, visibility is reduced due to fog, reaching below 200 meters, and isolated below 50 meters, which can favor the formation of ice. On the main highways, such as A1, A2, and A3, traffic is smooth, but under foggy conditions. Authorities recommend that drivers ensure good visibility, reduce speed, maintain distance between vehicles, and avoid risky overtaking. Additionally, pedestrians are advised to avoid moving on the roadway in conditions of low visibility and to ensure that they have been seen by drivers before crossing.
