The mayor of Broșteni, Alexandru Hurjui, has announced that at least 600 people are not living in their homes due to the recent floods. They are temporarily staying with relatives or friends. Local authorities have managed to clear 80% of the roads with the help of more than 1,000 people, including soldiers and volunteers. The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations sent 84 additional firefighters to support the response. The community urgently needs financial and material aid.
