Fire on Zoom beach in Constanța: kitesurfing warehouse affected

A fire broke out on Monday morning at a kitesurfing equipment warehouse on Zoom beach, in the North Promenade area of Constanța, affecting an area of approximately 60 square meters.

The flames were reported through a call to the emergency number 112, and firefighters responded quickly, sending a first aid crew, a ladder truck, a rescue vehicle, and two fire-fighting vehicles. Upon arrival of the crews, the fire was widespread, but firefighters managed to prevent the flames from spreading to nearby buildings.

ISU Dobrogea representative, Anamaria Stoica, confirmed that no casualties were reported. After extinguishing the fire, authorities will investigate the causes and circumstances of its outbreak.
