On the morning of April 17, a fire broke out at a recycling center in Ștefăneștii de Jos, Ilfov. Firefighters intervened quickly, arriving on the scene at around 01:12, where flames spread over an area of about 400 square meters, affecting combustible materials such as paper and plastic. The authorities issued a RO-ALERT message to warn people to avoid the area. Fortunately, there were no casualties and the intervention involved 11 fire engines and other equipment.
