The electricity market in Romania is becoming increasingly competitive, with suppliers fighting to attract and retain customers. PPC has launched the Bright Friday offer, valid from November 7-16, with a price of 0.45 lei/kWh for new customers, with no contract limits. The price remains constant for one year, and the total cost, including network fees, reaches 1.069 lei/kWh, lower than the Hidroelectrica offer. On the other hand, E.On has reduced the price of active energy to 0.61 lei/kWh, with final prices between 1.26 and 1.35 lei/kWh, depending on the area, for a six-month contract. Electrica Furnizare has updated its offer, lowering the price of active energy to 0.644 lei/kWh, with final prices between 1.30 and 1.38 lei/kWh, valid only for new customers until 2026. This intensified competition reflects the suppliers' desire to attract customers in a dynamic economic environment.
