Soil water supply will be satisfactory in most regions, but there will be shortages in Maramureș, Dobrogea and Banat, affecting maize and sunflower crops. ANM experts warn of wilting due to high temperatures, which may exceed 30-32 degrees Celsius. Barley and wheat crops are in the harvesting stage, while sugar beet and potatoes continue to develop. The weather will be scorching and localized rains could benefit agriculture.
