The accident took place on Unirii Street, near the intersection with Nicolae Bălcescu Boulevard, when the truck, driven by a 48-year-old driver, hit the woman at the moment when the line of cars received a green light at the traffic signal. Buzău police have opened a criminal case and are continuing investigations to establish the circumstances of the accident.
