The authorities in Mioveni intervened urgently after a strong smell of gas was felt in over 50 apartment buildings.

As a result of this situation, the ISU decided to evacuate the citizens from the area as a precaution, as well as approximately 600 students from the 'Iulia Zamfirescu' High School. The safety measures included stopping the gas supply in all areas affected by the citizens' reports. ISU representatives emphasized the importance of these measures to prevent a potential serious incident, such as an explosion.
