President Nicușor Dan is participating today in the European Council meeting at Alden Biesen

The Presidential Administration announced that European leaders will meet to discuss generating prosperity and quality services in the new global context.

The agenda of the meeting includes strengthening the Single Market, increasing the EU's competitiveness by strengthening the European industry, reducing bureaucracy, and simplifying legislation. The President of Romania has consulted the relevant ministries to prepare the country's position, establishing permanent meetings before the European Councils on economic issues.

Nicușor Dan will advocate for attracting investments, simplifying administrative procedures, solutions for reducing strategic dependencies, strengthening the Energy Union, and allocating funds for competitiveness in the Multiannual Financial Framework 2028-2034.
