A 24-year-old inmate, sentenced to 4 years and 7 months for aggravated robbery, escaped Thursday evening from the Poarta Albă Penitentiary by climbing over the facility's fence during a visit to the medical office. The escape was discovered around 6:20 PM, and the authorities quickly initiated a search operation, setting up roadblocks and mobilizing police teams in Constanța County. The inmate was caught on the night from Thursday to Friday, around 1:20 AM, in the town of Murfatlar, by prison police officers.
