DNA will present the activity report for 2025 on Thursday. Chief Prosecutor Marius Voineag appreciates that DNA has become a "profitable organization."

The National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA) will present on Thursday the activity report for the year 2025, in a context marked by the recent decisions of the Constitutional Court regarding the retirement of judges and the reactions generated by the documentary 'Captured Justice', which brings accusations against the head of DNA, Marius Voineag.

In a recent interview, Voineag emphasized the inability of control institutions to send notifications to DNA, mentioning that in 2024 there were only 39 cases, while in 2025 the number increased to almost 80. He stated that the total amount of seizures imposed by DNA reached 330 million lei, exceeding the institution's budget for 2024, and characterized DNA as a "profitable organization".

Voineag highlighted the achievements of 2024, including the resolution of 5,443 cases and a decrease in acquittals. He also mentioned that DNA will continue to focus on recovering damages and combating corruption.
