Diana Buzoianu, the Minister of the Environment, stated that she does not intend to resign following the scandal related to the drinking water crisis that affected over 107,000 people in the counties of Prahova and Dâmbovița. In a recent statement, she emphasized that she will continue the reforms, regardless of political pressure.

Diana Buzoianu responded to questions regarding a possible resignation, stating that there is no scenario in which the governing coalition would blackmail her to block the reforms. Additionally, the president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, mentioned that his party is discussing the minister's situation, and several PSD members have called for her resignation. Buzoianu emphasized that she remains in office to address the issues accumulated over the last 35 years and criticized the PSD's proposals regarding the reorganization of Romsilva.
