The Romanian Police Traffic Center issued a warning on Wednesday evening, signaling the presence of dense fog on the roads in 17 counties.

The counties where the presence of dense fog is reported are Argeș, Bacău, Botoșani, Brăila, Buzău, Constanța, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Galați, Gorj, Harghita, Ialomița, Ilfov, Mehedinți, Neamț, Prahova, and Tulcea. Visibility in traffic drops below 50 meters in some areas, and local conditions may favor the formation of ice. Traffic police recommend drivers to clean their windows and headlights, reduce speed, maintain a greater distance between vehicles, and avoid risky overtaking. Additionally, pedestrians are advised not to walk on the roadway in conditions of reduced visibility, ensuring they are seen by drivers before crossing.
