On Sunday morning, road traffic is affected by dense fog, which reduces visibility to under 200 meters in 19 counties, and in some areas even below 50 meters. Fog is reported on the highways A1, A2, A3, A4, and A7. The Infotrafic Center of the Romanian Police recommends drivers to use their lighting systems, to drive at reduced speed, and to maintain the legal distance between vehicles. The National Meteorological Administration has issued yellow code warnings for fog, valid until 9:00 AM, in the low areas of the counties Gorj, Olt, Dolj, Vâlcea, Mehedinți, Cluj, Harghita, Argeș, Botoșani, Suceava, Galați, Vrancea, Iași, Vaslui, as well as in the continental area of Constanța County. Additionally, drizzle is reported that may create ice in Bacău County. Drivers are advised to adopt a preventive driving behavior during their journey.
