Between October 13 and 19, 1,164 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection were reported, marking a significant decrease of 28.5% compared to the previous week. Of these cases, 327 were reinfected patients who tested positive more than 90 days after the first infection. During the same period, 10 deaths caused by COVID-19 were recorded, of which 7 were men and 3 were women.
The deaths were reported in various age groups: 3 cases in individuals aged 50-59 years, one case in the 60-69 age group, two cases in the 70-79 age group, and 4 cases in individuals aged 80 and over. All deceased individuals had associated comorbidities.
