David Popovici participates in the 'Trofeo Sette Colli' in Rome, an official competition before the European Championships

David Popovici, world champion, will participate this weekend in the 'Trofeo Sette Colli' in Rome, a competition that takes place between June 26 and 28 at Foro Italico.

Together with his colleague from Dinamo, Denis Popescu, David is preparing for the European Championships in Paris, scheduled between August 10 and 16. Popovici will compete in the 50m freestyle on June 26, 100m freestyle on June 27, and 200m freestyle on June 28. Denis Popescu will participate in the 100m butterfly on June 26 and 100m backstroke on June 27.

The two athletes are coached by Bogdan Stroe, and the competition will be broadcast live in Romania on the TVR Sport channel. This competition represents an important opportunity for swimmers to test their form before international competitions.
