Daniel David, Minister of Education, said a teachers' strike in September will not bring short-term benefits, given the financial difficulties facing the country. He stressed that austerity measures affect all areas, including education, and that a strike could lead to the same impasse. David said he was open to discussions to find solutions to improve the situation of teachers without resorting to strike action.
