The Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) has issued a call to the Government, emphasizing that the issue blocking the judicial system is not pensions, but the acute lack of personnel.

CSM reported a deficit of nearly 850 judges, representing 15% of the need, and highlighted that over 700 judicial assistants are required. Although hiring has been promised in recent years, it has not materialized, with zero clerks hired out of the 200 promised annually. CSM has called for better conditions for justice personnel and emphasized that citizens bear the consequences of this personnel crisis. Additionally, CSM recently opposed the law regarding judges' pensions, considering that recalibrating them is not the solution to the problems of the judicial system.
