Scammers have reinvented the method of fraud by sending fake packages with cash on delivery, containing cheap products from China. Victims, believing they are legitimate orders, pay between 70 and 240 lei, only to discover items of no value. The police recommend checking the sender and returning unknown packages. Representatives of courier companies emphasize that criminals obtain personal data from insecure websites, and customers need to be cautious regarding online orders.
