The case was registered on May 7 at the Constanta Court of Appeal. Anti-corruption prosecutors are accusing the two of buying influence, with Archbishop Teodosie suspected of promising 160,000 lei to a businessman, representing a percentage of the amount he was supposed to obtain for the Archdiocese of Tomis. The investigation was launched following an investigation published by the Recorder.
