A joint Romanian-Italian investigation unravels a huge smuggling network: 25 million cigarettes found in a warehouse in Timis county

<p>Romanian and Italian investigators, with the support of OLAF, have succeeded in dismantling a cross-border network dealing in the illegal production and smuggling of cigarettes. 25 million cigarettes were found in a warehouse in Timis county, while an illegal cigarette factory was discovered in Italy. Two people were detained by DIICOT prosecutors.
