A striptease show recently held at the Metropolitan Circus in Bucharest generated controversy after the dancers used the Romanian tricolor to cover their intimate areas. The Capital City Hall clarified that the event was not organized by the state circus, but that the institution rented the hall without having details about the content of the show. Representatives of the PMB emphasized that the organizers are not obliged to disclose the script before the event, but the contract stipulates that the activities must not be obscene or offensive.

Following the controversies, the PMB announced that it will consult with lawyers to decide on the necessary measures, including possible legal actions against the organizer, considering the breach of contractual provisions.
