In the context of the energy alert state declared at the national level, the Constanța City Hall announced a series of measures aimed at reducing electricity consumption and balancing the energy system.

Thus, the intensity of public lighting will be reduced to 50% on the rehabilitated boulevards, while on the unmodernized ones, only two of the three existing phases will operate.

The electric buses in the CT BUS fleet will be charged after 11:00 PM to avoid additional consumption during peak hours.

These measures are temporary and are intended to maintain public safety and the continuity of services.

The City Hall appeals to citizens to use electricity responsibly, emphasizing the importance of a joint effort in resource management. Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan declared a state of alert for the month of August due to the decrease in electricity production caused by drought.
