The Infotraffic Center of the Romanian Police announced on Wednesday that there is congestion on DN 1, especially in the direction towards Ploiești, where traffic is heavy in the resorts of Predeal, Azuga, and Bușteni, as well as between Posada and Comarnic. Additionally, in the direction towards Brașov, traffic is difficult between Nistorești and Comarnic. The police recommend using alternative routes to avoid blockages, such as DN 1A, DN 73, and DN 71. Drivers are advised to check traffic conditions before leaving and to respect traffic rules, including not driving under the influence of alcohol or psychoactive substances. It is also essential for vehicles to be equipped with winter tires in conditions of ice or snow.
