The Leoni factory in Arad has completed the schedule for the collective layoffs announced in December, affecting 465 employees out of a total of approximately 1,600. The layoffs will begin in March and will conclude in August.

The executive director of AJOFM, Augustin Alexandru Molnar, stated that this is the most recent notification of collective layoffs received by the institution. Before the layoffs, AJOFM will organize a special job fair for the affected employees and will provide pre-layoff services, including counseling on job opportunities. Additionally, the laid-off employees will receive severance pay, depending on their length of service.
