Meteorologists from ANM have issued a weather alert for the period from April 29 to May 2, announcing a significant cooling of the weather across the country, with temperatures 8-12 degrees lower than the multiannual average.
Starting Wednesday, the thermal values will decrease, and the nights will bring frost in the northern half of the country. Rain will be predominant in the south and east, with water accumulations of 10-15 l/m², and isolated areas may record over 20 l/m².
In the mountains, the precipitation will be mixed, and at altitudes over 1400 m, snow will prevail, forming a snow layer of 5-8 cm.
The wind will intensify in most regions, with gusts of 40-45 km/h, and in the high mountain area, speeds will exceed 60-70 km/h.
