Meteorologist Florinela Georgescu from ANM announces that temperatures in Romania will rise, but will remain below the multiannual averages, especially in the northern, central, and eastern regions. On Wednesday, the maximum temperatures will range between -6 and 6 degrees, while at night the minimum temperatures will be below 0 degrees in most of the country, with risks of ice formation.
From Thursday night to Friday, it will cool down again, and the weekend will bring frost, with temperatures below -10 degrees Celsius, especially in the eastern part of the country. Even though a slight warming is expected from the middle of next week, temperature fluctuations will continue, and meteorologists are monitoring the cyclonic activity in the Mediterranean basin, which could influence the weather in Romania.
