During the meeting of the Bucharest Municipality Coordination Committee, the National Liberal Party unanimously validated, on Wednesday, Ciprian Ciucu's candidacy for the position of General Mayor of the Capital. PNL President, Ilie Bolojan, emphasized that polls show Ciucu is the highest-ranked liberal in voters' preferences. Ciucu explained that the decision to run does not represent a separation from Sector 6, but rather a continuity, assuring residents that he will remain involved in the city's development. He mentioned that he weighed the impact he could have at the Capital City Hall compared to that of the sector, emphasizing that he will continue to work for the regeneration of the area.
