Ciprian Ciucu, the PNL candidate for the Capital City Hall, proposes an urban regeneration program, including the concept of "Oraș-park"

The PNL candidate for the Capital City Hall, Ciprian Ciucu, presented an ambitious program that includes the concept of "Oraș-parc", aimed at urban regeneration along the Unirii Square – Victory Square axis. It targets the modernization of infrastructure, the creation of a continuous network of parks and urban forests, as well as the improvement of public transport. Ciucu emphasizes the need for an updated Zonal Urban Plan (PUZ), considering that Bucharest has not had an updated General Urban Plan (PUG) for over 25 years. Among his proposals are the strengthening of buildings with seismic risk, the creation of a seismic safety fund, and the transformation of the Local Police into a modern structure capable of responding to the needs of citizens. Additionally, Ciucu proposes a modernized heating system and real green protection to reduce pollution. He also proposes to transform Bucharest into a civilized city, with clear rules for public space, and to implement a mobility system that encourages public transport and the use of bicycles. Ciucu believes that Bucharest must become a healthy and breathable city, with a focus on air quality and health infrastructure. Finally, he emphasizes the importance of administrative reform to clarify responsibilities between the General City Hall and the sector city halls.
