Ciprian Ciucu, the PNL candidate for the Capital City Hall, stated that the illegal tree cuttings in IOR Park represent a challenge to the community and the authorities. He emphasized that those who cut the trees should be taken away by the Local Police, which should intervene firmly when they are ordered to stop.

Ciucu criticized the lack of authority of the state and highlighted the responsibility of the Local Police to stop these illegal actions. He believes that the cuttings are an act of malice, mentioning that those involved know they cannot build on that property, but continue to cut the trees to provoke the community. Ciprian Ciucu insisted on the need for the Local Police to decisively act against the violations of the law.
