After a RO-ALERT message was transmitted at 4:20 AM for the red snow warning, negative reactions led to a change in the alert sound. Raed Arafat, head of the Department for Emergency Situations, explained that the message could not be delayed, as it was essential for the safety of those exposed to risks. He emphasized that the timing of the transmission was crucial, considering that many residents were preparing to leave for work.

Although the standard sound cannot be modified at present, the old tone will only be used for serious alerts. Two days later, a new alert regarding the disappearance of a child was issued with a different sound, similar to a notification.
