The CF2 Hospital in Bucharest was left without electricity on Tuesday, around noon, after a worker accidentally cut a cable during subway construction work.

The hospital manager, Diana Mihaela Ciuc, stated that the hospital is temporarily operating with the help of a generator, which provides power for 'key points', including the operating room and incubators. However, the hospital had to limit admissions, as the computer systems cannot function without electricity. The manager emphasized that patients were not directly affected by this situation. Hospital representatives have been assured that work is being done to fix the outage and that all electrical circuits will be restored during the day.
