The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania has taken over the presidency of the Association of Balkan Chambers of Commerce, highlighting the importance of economic cooperation in the region.

On September 10, CCIR became the president of the Association of Balkan Chambers of Commerce, thus strengthening Romania's influence in international economic organizations. President Mihai Daraban mentioned that, although CCIR has achieved notable results, the lack of political support limits the transformation of these achievements into benefits for the Romanian business environment. CCIR aims to transform the association into a strategic platform for Balkan economic integration, leveraging Romania's position as a gateway to European markets.
