Cătălin Drulă, the USR candidate for the General Mayor of Bucharest, reacted to a recent poll showing a significant difference between him and the other candidates. He stated that PNL and PSD have a huge stake in capturing the Capital and accused the party networks of manipulating through polls. Drulă criticized Ciprian Ciucu, the PNL candidate, for using sociological research for electoral purposes, suggesting that he should participate in a public debate instead of resorting to manipulations. The INSCOP poll shows that Ciucu leads with 27.1% of the votes, followed by the PSD candidate, Daniel Băluță, while Drulă is in a lower position in voter preferences.
