Cătălin Botezatu, a well-known Romanian fashion designer, was robbed last week in London, losing an extremely rare watch from the Sapphire series, valued at 2 million pounds. The incident took place on January 29, in Berkeley Square, an exclusive neighborhood where thieves are frequently active.

The stolen watch, a Richard Mille, is part of a collection appreciated by celebrities, including Rafael Nadal and Jay Z. The London police have arrested a suspect, Younes Djoudim, aged 33, accused of theft. Botezatu, aged 59, has had a remarkable career in fashion, collaborating with big names like Gianni Versace and having clients from the showbiz world. The next hearing for the suspect is scheduled for February 27 at the Southwark Crown Court.
