Metrorex announced the possible suspension of payment by bank card at the subway, after it canceled the second tender for banking services, following a challenge. The allegations of the challenger were recognized as 'correct and well-founded' by Metrorex. The main issue concerns the commission charged on each transaction and the integration of the new payment systems with the existing equipment. This situation has already caused inconveniences, such as the inability to pay for parking by card at the intermodal terminal in Străulești.
