Three Romanian citizens, aged between 19 and 44, were caught at Henri Coandă International Airport with 159,200 undeclared cigarettes, hidden in their luggage. They arrived from the United Arab Emirates, passing through the green corridor designated for those without declarations. Customs authorities confiscated the entire quantity, and the Prosecutor's Office next to the Buftea Court was notified to investigate the crime of smuggling. Authorities emphasize the importance of preventing smuggling to protect the economy and public health.
