On Wednesday, at 'Henri Coandă' International Airport in Bucharest, three flights to Frankfurt and one to Munich were canceled, and flights from 'Avram Iancu' Airport in Cluj-Napoca to Munich were also canceled.

The cancellations also affect arrivals from Munich to Bucharest. Lufthansa passengers are facing disruptions due to a two-day strike by cabin crews, which started at midnight, affecting approximately 20,000 flight attendants.

The UFO union called for this strike to obtain better working conditions, in the context of a broader labor conflict. Repeated strikes at Lufthansa began at the beginning of the year, and pilots went on strike on Monday and Tuesday for better salaries and pensions. New strikes are announced for Thursday and Friday, affecting the operations of Lufthansa, Lufthansa Cargo, and Lufthansa CityLine.
