The Capital City Hall announced the mobilization of 312 cleaning machines and 1,144 workers to clear the snow and spread anti-slip material on the streets. Priority is given to boulevards, main streets, slopes, and heavily trafficked areas. Economic agents and homeowners' associations are responsible for cleaning the sidewalks. Additionally, the National Meteorological Administration has warned that a new snowfall is expected, with a snow layer of 4-6 cm, which will lead to a total thickness of 12-15 cm in Bucharest.

On the other hand, air traffic at Henri Coandă Airport and Băneasa Airport is operating according to schedule, with no flights canceled due to weather, although some may experience delays due to the de-icing of aircraft. The runways and taxiways are maintained in optimal conditions for flight operations. Bucharest is under the influence of a meteorological information message regarding cold weather and mixed precipitation until January 13.
