The Capital City Hall announces that on Saturday, November 29, 2025, the Christmas lights will be turned on in Bucharest at 6:00 PM, throughout the capital, starting from Constitution Square. On this occasion, the Christmas Markets in Constitution Square and University Square will also open. The market in Constitution Square, now in its 18th edition, will offer visitors an impressive eco-friendly Christmas tree, Santa's House, a Ferris wheel, and a carousel, as well as theater and music performances. On November 29, the Radio Children's Choir and artists such as Ozana Barabancea, Theo Rose, and Smiley will kick off the festive season. The market in University Square will include food trucks with international dishes and festive attractions. Admission is free, and the atmosphere promises to be unforgettable, bringing together tradition and modernity in the spirit of the winter holidays.
