Bucharest has officially entered the competition to become the headquarters of the future European Union Customs Agency, with Romania presenting its candidacy to the Members of the European Parliament from the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO). Alexandru Nazare was the one who presented the arguments in favor of the Romanian capital, highlighting the strategic and logistical advantages that Bucharest offers.
