The Brașov City Hall intends to transform a former thermal point in the Tractorul neighborhood into a day center dedicated to adults with autism, marking the first initiative of its kind in the municipality.
The project, which will be submitted for approval to the Local Council, involves an estimated investment of over 5 million lei. The purpose of this center is to improve the quality of life for adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and to prevent their institutionalization by creating a safe and accessible environment for therapeutic, educational, and social activities.
This initiative is part of the City Hall's strategy to regenerate the spaces of former thermal points, with plans to transform eight such locations into multifunctional centers, sports facilities, or those intended for vulnerable families, with a total investment of several tens of millions of lei.
