The President of the Brașov County Council, Adrian Veștea, announced that Brașov International Airport recorded 337,353 Romanian and foreign travelers in 2025, which represents a significant increase of 48% compared to the previous year, when there were 227,900 passengers. Veștea emphasized that these results confirm the airport's potential for expansion, which has had a total of 644,264 passengers since its opening.

In December 2025, the airport recorded 38,274 passengers. Additionally, the winter schedule will start on January 28, including flights to cities in England, Germany, Italy, and Hungary. Veștea thanked travelers for their trust in this young airport.
