Joel Weinshanker, an American businessman known for managing the estate of Elvis Presley, has acquired the majority stake in the Bran Domain Management Company (CADB), which manages Bran Castle in Brașov. The transaction took place after an arbitration dispute in the USA, which led to the complete transfer of the company to the heirs of Princess Ileana.

Weinshanker controls the Ad Populum group, a conglomerate in the entertainment sector, which has rapidly grown through acquisitions. After taking over 80% of CADB, management was entrusted to Steven Bieg, the Chief Financial Officer of Ad Populum. The company has launched a recruitment campaign for staff who will manage the daily operations of the castle. Weinshanker is also known for managing tourism and events related to Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley.
